The problem

Finding childcare shouldn't feel like a second job

Parents spend weeks searching Facebook groups and calling referral lists with no way to compare. Providers struggle to fill spots because families can't find them.

Hours of searching

Parents lose evenings and weekends just finding out which providers near them even have openings.

No transparency

Pricing, availability, and credentials are scattered or hidden. Comparing options is nearly impossible.

Providers stay invisible

Great local providers lose families to word-of-mouth gaps. Without a digital presence, they can't grow.

FAQ

Good questions

Is ChildCare Connect free for families?

Yes. Searching, browsing profiles, and contacting providers is free for families. Optional premium features may come later, but the core experience stays free.

How are providers verified?

Providers share their licensing and credentials when they join, and we review every listing before it goes live. We also encourage families to verify credentials directly — North Carolina publishes every licensed facility's rating and history, and we're building toward integrated background checks as we grow.

What does "founding provider" mean?

Providers who join the waitlist before launch get their first 6 months listed completely free — no card required. You'll be among the first families see when we go live.

When do you launch?

We're starting in Wilmington, then Raleigh and Charlotte. Waitlist members hear first — that's the whole point of the list.
